Salary: £100 - £130 per day

Do you have experience working within a Secondary School environment?
Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role as a Cover Supervisor?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Darlington, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Cover Supervisor. The school has a supportive and welcoming environment, with a strong focus on student achievement, behaviour, and creating positive learning experiences for all pupils.
The school is looking to take on a proactive Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes across KS3 / KS4 in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and behaviour is managed effectively. The successful Cover Supervisor will be expected to deliver pre-planned work and support students throughout the school day.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working within a Secondary School setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to engage and motivate students
• A positive and adaptable approach to working
• A passion for supporting young people within education
