Are you passionate about supporting students aged 11 to 16 to achieve their best?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Runcorn. We are actively recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to provide high-quality classroom support across our trusted network of schools.
Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in keeping students engaged and learning when their usual teacher is absent. Working on a day-to-day, long-term or full-time basis, you will deliver pre-set work, maintain excellent classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. This role does not involve planning or marking, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain valuable experience in secondary education.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, or a minimum of 6 months' experience working with young people
• Confidence in managing classes of students aged 11 to 16
• Excellent classroom engagement and behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
