We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor at one of our client secondary schools based in Old Trafford. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of young minds in a supportive and dynamic environment.

This role will start in November and run full-time until the end of the academic year, in July 2027.

We encourage graduates wanting to gain experience prior to starting a PGCE to apply. Depending on how a successful candidate gets on in school, they may be welcomed back to complete one of their placements within the school while doing teacher training.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons and resources to students across various subjects and year groups.
Maintain discipline and manage behaviour in accordance with school policies.
Provide support to students with their learning, answering questions and offering guidance when needed.
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning and effective classroom management.
Assist with administrative tasks such as taking attendance and reporting any issues or concerns to relevant staff members.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
