Location: Derby city and surrounding areas
Pay: From £95 per day, paid weekly
Hours: 8:15am–3:15pm
Contract: Temporary, flexible supply work during term time

Supply Teach is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work in local schools. Earn money, build your CV and explore a career in teaching while making a difference to young people.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise classes when teachers are absent, helping pupils complete work that has already been set.

Explain the prepared lessons and keep pupils focused.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Follow safeguarding procedures.

Share feedback with school staff after lessons.
Requirements
This Cover Supervisor role suits someone who is:

Confident speaking to groups and interested in working with young people.
*
Reliable, organised and calm under pressure.
*
Available for the full school day, 8:15am–3:15pm, on their chosen weekdays.
You don’t need a teaching qualification. Experience in tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work or volunteering is useful.
