Cover Supervisor

We are currently recruiting reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors based in and around Stockport to support a range of secondary schools on a day-to-day supply basis.

This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, happy to receive morning calls, and keen to gain experience working across different school environments. You’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when teaching staff are absent.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
Delivering pre-set lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting pupils with their work where appropriate
Adapting quickly to different schools and classroom settings
Who We’re Looking For

Individuals based in Stockport or able to travel locally
Available for day-to-day work, including bookings on short notice
Comfortable with early morning calls
Confident working with secondary school students
Previous experience working with young people (tutoring, coaching, youth work) or as a cover supervisor
Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
