Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools Across Salford, Bolton & Bury

We are recruiting confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work on both short-term and long-term assignments. Opportunities may also include Teaching Assistant and Exam Invigilator roles, providing excellent experience within a school setting.

The Role:

Deliver pre-set work to classes in the absence of the classroom teacher
Maintain positive behaviour and keep students engaged in learning
Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
Assist teaching staff and students where required
Take on occasional Teaching Assistant responsibilities
Support schools during mock exam and GCSE exam periods as an Exam Invigilator

We Are Looking For:

Confident individuals with strong communication skills
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
Graduates and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
A professional and reliable approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
