Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to start in September. This role is perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people. 

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support students with their learning and ensure work is completed
Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson
No formal teaching qualification is required, just strong communication skills, confidence in leading a classroom and the ability to build rapport with students. 

What We’re Looking For

UK experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)
Commitment to supporting students' learning and wellbeing 
An understanding of SEND needs (such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH) is advantageous
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one, along with satisfactory background screening

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
