About the Role
Apex Educ8 is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Brent, with opportunities to start as soon as compliance checks are completed.
If you enjoy working with young people, can manage a classroom confidently and are looking for flexible opportunities in education, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, helping students stay focused and ensuring the work provided is completed in a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise classes across a range of subjects.

Ensure students remain on task and complete the work set by the teacher.

Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Report any concerns or incidents to the appropriate member of staff.
What We're Looking For

Experience working with secondary school-aged pupils or young people.

Good communication skills and confidence managing a classroom.

A calm, adaptable and reliable approach.

The ability to work independently and use your initiative.

Willingness to complete the necessary safeguarding and compliance checks.
