Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £100 - £120 per day
Are you comfortable standing in front of a classroom and confidently leading secondary-aged pupils?
Can you build positive relationships with young people while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations?
Are you looking to develop your experience within secondary education while working across schools in the Caerphilly area?
TeacherActive is working closely with mainstream secondary schools throughout Caerphilly that require confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people who are comfortable taking responsibility for a classroom. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, manage behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience supporting children or young people
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• Confidence leading a secondary classroom independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A calm and professional approach to challenging situations
• Flexibility and a willingness to support across different subjects
