Currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the team and support the education and development of the pupils.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the school by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and wish to gain valuable experience in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classes of pupils in the absence of the regular teacher.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities, ensuring that pupils remain engaged and on task.
Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, following the school's behaviour management policies.
Provide support and assistance to pupils, helping them with their learning and addressing any questions they may have.
Report back to the class teacher on the progress and behaviour of pupils during the lesson.
Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as required by the school.Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience working in a school environment or with children is desirable.
A good understanding of the primary school curriculum.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain discipline.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards working with children.
