We're looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to provide essential support to our SEN students in their learning journey.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the continued progress and well-being of our SEN students. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering pre-planned lessons in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
Providing one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Collaborating with teachers and support staff to implement Healthcare Plans and accommodate individual learning needs.
Managing behaviour effectively and promoting positive interactions among students.Requirements for Cover Supervisor Role:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
A passion for working with SEN students and a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives.
Experience or training in supporting individuals with SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles.Education Background:
A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is often preferred. However, some institutions may accept candidates with relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
Additional qualifications or certifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) education are highly desirable.Experience:
Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), is advantageous.
