Role and Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
Ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work.
Supporting students' learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Upholding school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
A positive and proactive attitude towards challenges.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
