Working Monday to Thursday 10.00am to 4.00pm
Pay £11.90 per hour
Temporary to August 2024
Our public sector client is seeking a Courier/driver. This is a temporary position starting 26th June until 7th August 2024.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Collection and delivery of samples to the organisation and their partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Collection of water and food samples
Delivering supplies of empty sample containers
Daily vehicle inspections and reporting of vehicle faults
Assist in cleaning of the laboratory as required eg sweeping floors, cleaning benches and glasswareKey Skills and Requirements:
Full clean driving licence
Able to lift sample boxes weighing up to approximately 10kg on a regular basis
Good communication skills
Able to work with minimum supervision
Reliable with good timekeeping
Ideally experience of working in a laboratory environment
Experience of working in a fully documented and/or accredited quality system
Able to work weekends if required
