Delivery / Courier Driver

I and C are a partnership, who own a franchise for DPD. Our mission is to be the best franchise owners at DPD. We want to be known for our hard working drivers and family values. We pride ourselves in making everyone feel appreciated by giving extra incentives for hard work. We try to make our drivers' working days as easy as possible, by giving the same routes everyday, and ultimately leaving our drivers with little to no stress!
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
* Safety and efficiently operate a courier vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations
* Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
* Ensure all packages are properly secured during transportation
* Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures for proof of delivery
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Delivery Driver Skills:
* Previous experience in route driving our courier services is preferred
* Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
To work for DPD you must have:
* A full UK driving licence for 18 months or more
* You must be 21 years of age and above
* Experience preferred driving a van but not essential
* Have a valid DBS certificate
* Have a right to work in the UK
