Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Location: Milton Keynes
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – Rotational Shifts
Shift Pattern: 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in Milton Keynes.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' counterbalance forklift driving experience and be confident operating the truck both forwards and in reverse. Experience driving backwards safely and confidently is essential for this role.
You will also receive training to operate a forklift with a clamp attachment.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in a busy working environment.
* Confidently manoeuvre the forklift forwards and backwards.
* Load, unload and move stock and materials safely and efficiently.
* Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any faults.
* Follow all site health and safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
* Undertake training to use the clamp attachment.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years' counterbalance forklift driving experience.
* Valid, in-date external counterbalance forklift licence.
* Confident and competent driving the forklift in reverse.
* Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
* Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and undertake clamp attachment training.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, working on a rotational weekly shift pattern:
* Early shift: 6:00am–2:00pm
* Late shift: 2:00pm–10:00pm
