Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse & Yard Operative
Location: Surbiton, Surrey
Salary: £30,569 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

A leading roofing materials supplier based in Surbiton is looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse & Yard Operative to join their busy team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business supplying roofing products to trade and commercial customers throughout the local area.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
* Saturday: 7:30am – 10:30am
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse and yard.
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
* Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
* Moving, stacking and storing roofing materials and stock.
* Assisting customers collecting goods from the branch.
* Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
* Keeping the warehouse and yard clean, tidy and organised.
* Conducting daily forklift and equipment safety checks.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
* Supporting colleagues with general warehouse and yard duties as required.
Requirements:
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
* Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience within a warehouse, builders merchant, roofing, construction or yard environment.
* Good understanding of health and safety practices.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, hardworking and customer-focused attitude.
* Physically fit and comfortable handling building materials.
