Description:
The Best Connection are looking for an enthusiastic Counterbalance Forklift Driver to work for one of our Clients in the Basingstoke area. This is an ongoing role.
Hours of work
* 07:00-16:30 (1 hour lunch break)
* Monday to Friday
* 43 hours per week
Rate of Pay
* £12.50
Responsibilities of the FLT Driver
* Collecting building supplies for customers
* Moving materials from A to B using a FLT truck
* General FLT duties
* Serve customers in a helpful and friendly manner and ask questions to establish customer needs
* Pick and assemble orders for both delivery and collection, matching picking notes to the driver delivery notes
* Undertake regular stock takes and advise on low stocks
* Order goods within branch guidelines
* Ensure any goods that are damaged are dealt with
* Keep the yard/warehouse clean, neat and tidy
* Any other duties and responsibilities that may be asked of you
Requirements of the FLT Driver
* Have a good understanding of Building materials
* Provide good customer service
* Some previous experience in a similar job role
* Good attention to detail
* Strong work ethic
