Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced FLT Drivers, Counterbalance Forklift Drivers, Forklift Truck Drivers, and Warehouse Operatives to join a busy logistics and warehouse operation in Preston.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance Forklift Licence looking for an ongoing temporary role offering competitive pay rates, long 12-hour shifts, and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced logistics and warehouse environment.
Key Duties
Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
Coordinate the servicing of packaging lines to maintain production flow.
Load and unload vehicles safely and accurately.
Transport stock, pallets, and materials throughout the warehouse and logistics areas.
Support the day-to-day operations of the logistics department.
Complete routine warehouse and forklift duties as required.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
Follow all health and safety procedures and safe forklift operating practices.
Requirements
Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
Previous experience working as an FLT Driver, Counterbalance Forklift Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, Warehouse Operative, or Logistics Operative.
Experience within a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Reliable, flexible, and able to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
What We Offer
