Description:

This leading national main contractor have an immediate requirement for a Cost Planner to work in their City of London office. You will be offered a minimum contract of 24 months however, this is likely to be a long term position or an entry into the business for a permanent opportunity.

You will have worked at a Cost Planner on large scale residential projects before and this could have been for a developer or contractor. The developments you will be involved with as the Cost Planner are a mixture of houses and flats totalling 600+ and over 1000+ units.

For this Cost Planner role, you will draw on your existing knowledge of cost analysis and construction in general. You will perform the preparation of cost analyses from available project information, check and acknowledge receipt of documents for preparation of cost plans, preparation of project approximate estimate, preparation of project initial cost plan to name a few. A recognised UK Construction qualification is essential, and you will be able to show a strong, steady and relevant career path.
