A global organisation is recruiting a Cost Engineer working within the Defence business area. You'll be joining a company that strive to deliver the best outcomes for their clients by providing a proactive approach and wealth of expertise. You'll be a part of an inclusive team whilst working on some of the most exciting projects in the industry.
Role
As a Cost Engineer, you'll be undertaking a range of duties on high profile Defence projects. You'll implement cost control systems and assist in delivering Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS). Furthermore, you'll update cost forecasts and support management in high - risk decision making.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Cost Engineer, you'll need previous experience within a Cost Control environment. As the role will involve visits to client sites, a full UK driving license, or the ability to travel to sites is necessary. In addition, you must be a sole British passport holder with security clearance or the ability to obtain this due to the nature of the Defence sector. Experience with Microsoft software's and an understanding of other Project Controls would hold you in good stead.
Package
A salary of up to £70,000(DOE), along with a flexible, hybrid working arrangement. You'll typically be working 3 days from their Bristol office and the remaining 2 from home.
