Cost Clerk / Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS)
Location: Pembroke
Contract: Temporary, 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 — 45 hours per week
Pay rate: £200 per day (umbrella or CIS)
Construkt RS is currently recruiting for a Cost Clerk / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on an infrastructure project in Pembroke.
Duties
*
Maintaining accurate project cost records and spreadsheets
*
Supporting the Quantity Surveyor and wider commercial team
*
Tracking labour, plant, materials and subcontractor costs
*
Checking invoices, purchase orders and timesheets
*
Assisting with cost reports, forecasts and reconciliations
*
Monitoring project expenditure and identifying discrepancies
*
Maintaining commercial documentation and project records
*
Liaising with site and office-based teams
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Cost Clerk, Commercial Administrator, AQS or Quantity Surveying Assistant
*
Strong Excel and general IT skills
*
Good numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
*
Experience within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or rail would be advantageous
*
Highly organised and able to work to deadlines
*
Confident communicating with project and commercial teams
