About the Role:
As a Cost Accountant, you will work closely with internal departments and external partners to provide insights, analysis, and operational guidance, ensuring the achievement of business goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with colleagues to drive business performance and optimise processes.
Providing financial analysis and insights to support proactive decision-making and strategic planning.
Developing and maintaining financial models to support initiatives, investments, and identify opportunities.
Monitoring and presenting financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets, recommending corrective actions as needed.
Assisting in the development of annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and performance metrics.
Analysing COGs and optimising margins across product ranges.
Maintaining pricing policies and margin controls.
Collaborating on inventory control measures against sales analysis and forecasts.
Supporting the finance department with annual, quarterly, and monthly financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Evaluating and improving financial processes and systems for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis and projects to support business initiatives and strategic priorities.
Staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance.
Building and maintaining relationships with colleagues to promote collaboration and trust. What We’re Looking For:

Recognised professional qualification (e.g., CIMA).
Up-to-date knowledge of financial practices and relevant regulations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and provide meaningful insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling (experience with ERP systems like SAP/Oracle preferred).
Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and driving results and ideally worked in FMCG 
At least 5 years of experience in financial or cost accounting roles.
Experience in business partnering, financial analysis, and strategic financial planning. What’s On Offer:
