About the role
* The role is a mixture of Day/Night Supervision of Civils/M & E and other minor works.
* The candidate should have a good understanding of safety requirements and be able to understand works being undertake (as briefed to them by the Construction Manager/PM). They should be able to communicate well with their client counterpart and be able to understand specific working arrangements (as will be briefed to them). This is a more “professional” client facing role than a traditional boots on the ground job owing to Heathrow environment
* General construction knowledge will be advantageous.
* They will be provided training (shadowing) during an initial bedding in period prior to us reviewing and agreeing that they are competent and happy to work unsupported.
* A COSS/Supervisor would be advantageous to provide cover for our rail requirements.
* Our ideal candidate would be an existing experienced COSS, who either holds SSSTS/CSCS Gold Card or an experienced COSS who is willing to undergo training to supervisor level.
* They will require to undergo a background check to enable them to gain a Heathrow Airside pass. Additionally, they must hold a UK driving licence as we will (by agreement) provide them with a van, subject to them passing relevant training to be able to drive airside
