Description:

My client is looking for that special individual who can demonstrate strong technical ability, who is able to effectively work under pressure with a variety of projects and tasks, keeping the plates spinning behind the scenes, whilst delivering an outstanding client experience.
You will enjoy working as part of a supportive, small and tight knit team, taking ownership of the part you play in the success of the business. You will be able to work independently to achieve the common goals and aims, but able to support, coach and mentor colleagues where needed.
Responsibilities:
The underlying theme in most of the work we’re involved in is shareholder changes. Our clients transactional services include business sales and acquisitions that can take many forms; trade sales, private equity, management-buyouts, management buy-ins, employee ownership trusts and many other ways for existing shareholders to achieve an exit. Another key area of our work portfolio is business valuations, which can be required for a range of fiscal and non-fiscal reasons.
One day you could be dealing with due diligence for business sales and acquisitions, including meeting with clients to guide them through the process; the next drafting, valuation reports, contacting prospective clients, to preparing forecasts and projections. You could be conducting market research, supporting the wider team on projects, and will have lots of contact at client meetings supporting the team. Due to the nature of the role the ability to adapt to emerging tasks and changing priorities is essential.
You will be personable, conscientious, and committed. You will enjoy or have a passion to develop the business as well as the technical knowledge and know how to support our clients.
If you are passionate about delivering a high-quality service to our clients, this is a great opportunity for you.
What you’ll be part of:
My client’s committed to empowering their clients and people to make informed decisions and achieve their goals, whether business or personal. Their mission is to be the guardian of their client’s financial futures and people’s professional aspirations. So, what does that mean for you?
My client is looking for individuals who are:
* Ambitious, who want to drive the Firm forward.
* Compassionate, they have purpose and are proactive in their approach to meeting both client and personal goals.
* Agile, they embrace new ideas and demonstrate innovativeness.
Requirements:
* Have at least three years’ Corporate Finance, Audit or Accounting experience, ideally in a Practice environment
* Have achieved your ACA/ACCA qualification
* Have a full driving license and access to independent transport
* Be a team player who enjoys working as part of a busy team to achieve team targets
* Be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen
* Be competent using Microsoft Office and other software applications
