Pure Care are seeking a friendly and dedicated Cook or Chef to join the team at a lovely Nursery in Shipley Bridge, between Horley and Copthorne. The core responsibilities will be to deliver freshly cooked meals and snacks for the children working in an extremely rewarding setting. An immediate start is available!

This is a full time, permanent Cook position paying a generous starting salary of £25,000 per annum. As the Chef you will working 8:30am-5pm shifts, Monday to Friday only.
This role is working in a fantastic Nursery that is a part of a small, established group and has a great reputation in the local area. The successful Cook candidate will ideally have a valid Food Hygiene Certificate or similar, and previous experience of working in a Nursery, School or similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
A good understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines is required within the Cook role. Qualifications within Catering/Hospitality/Professional Cookery would be looked upon favourably but are not essential. Formal Chef training is not necessary as the Nursery are more looking for a friendly and dedicated individual who can cook nutritious meals from fresh.

Nursery Cook / Chef Main Duties:
* Responsible for the catering services within the Nursery on the days you are working
* Cook using fresh ingredients made from scratch as much as possible
* Prepare nutritious meals, paying particular attention to any special dietary requirements
* Have a full understanding of Health & Safety as well as Food Hygiene issues, COSHH, and working within the guidelines relating to cross infection
