Role: Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: £20,000 - £23,000+ DOE

Here at Simpson Judge we are proud to be assisting a long standing client of ours in Shrewsbury in their search for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancing Assistant.
Are you a hands on and experienced legal Secretary or Legal Assistant that is looking for a new challenge with in the conveyancing market? our client would like to speak with Assistants who have at least 12 months experience in a conveyancing department, and that have some if not all of the below day to day duties:
* Set up files including AML checks;
* Commission surveys and subsequent reports;
* Deal with all aspects of sales and purchase transactions from first instructions to post completion filing of SDLT return at HMRC and registration of title at Land Registry;
* Liaise throughout with surveyors, estate agents, clients and other side solicitors;
* Attending client meetings (Video meetings at present)to take notes and to action matters arising
* Liaising with clients and other professionals to assist the solicitor team.
There is routes of progression with in the firm, however this role is a supporting role on a one on one basis for at least 12 months.
