We are working with an established Machine Manufacturing company based in Nottinghamshire, UK. They are recruiting for a Junior/ Controls Engineer to join their team in return for a salary in the region of £30.000 - £40.000.
Ideally, they want a practical person; someone who, maybe in the last 5 years done Apprenticeship in Electrical/ Panel Building, got some PLC programming experience, but wants to take it to the next level.
Key Responsibilities include:
* PLC Programming fault finding & programming development.
* Supporting our existing team in production of new machinery and ancillary equipment.
* Ideally they should have experience in special purpose machine design & development.
* Mainly factory based in Nottingham, but the position involves occasional travel nationally & overseas.
Qualifications & Experience required:
* City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering
* Experience working with automation in a fast-paced production environment
