Our client is a well-established manufacturer of innovative equipment for a variety of industry sectors including aerospace, wind and automotive industry sectors. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing controls software for manufacturing equipment, providing technical support to engineers & customers and managing system projects from initial concept through to delivery.

Control Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

-          Designing electrical and control systems for material processing machinery

-          Developing design concepts and producing technical drawings.

-          Managing system projects from initial concept through to implementation.

-          Understand customer specifications and research into solutions to help develop new products.

-          Providing technical support to clients and the wider engineering teams.

-          Ensure that developed systems are compliant with H&S standards.

-          Create programmable logic controllers that meet the agreed technical solution.

Control Systems Engineer Requirements:

-          Must be an experienced Control Systems Engineer.

-          Proficient with electronic and electrical software.

-          Experienced in programming PLCs such as Siemens

-          Understanding of composites, material processing and polymer manufacturing would be beneficial.

-          Be able to manage system project from initial concept through to delivery.
