Control Systems Engineer
Industry: Systems Integrator and Control Panel Manufacturer - Aggregates & Quarrying.
Siemens TIA Portal: PLC Programming from scratch and modifications.

Starting Salary: £50,000 p/a basic salary.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7am-4:30pm.
Benefits: Remote and Flexible working opportunity (4/5 days per week), Siemens TIA license, Fully expensed Mercedes Van for commissioning, travel time is paid, 8% Pension, 25 Days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays.

The Business
Approaching 20 Years in business, our client has grown to become an industry leading electrical contractor providing electro-mechanical installations, control panel integration, maintenance and periodic testing and inspection services to the Aggregates, Quarrying and Food/Beverages sectors.

Recognised nationally for craftsmanship their impressive project portfolio ranges from smaller Control Panel Manufacturing jobs through to full turnkey production line projects circa £1M. Their customers consist of multi-site players in industry including: Aggregate Industries, Hanson, Komatsu, Tarmac, Terex, Cemex, Airbus, Kendall and many more.

They have a 1.2 acre site in Wales and brand new office in Sheffield which both have design and manufacturing capabilities, the majority of their control panels and electrical equipment is built in house and then commissioned by the team on site.

Right now they have an exciting opportunity for a Siemens TIA Portal Control systems Engineer to join, the role combines programming and writing code aswell as comissioning so a great combinaiton for somebody that enjoys completing lifecycle projects.

The Role: Control Systems / Commissioning Engineer

* Control systems Engineer within the Quarrying, Building products, and Aggregates industries.

* Taking technical briefs from the Project Manager and supporting with front end design work and control systems design, taking the project from concept through to completion.

* Programming using Siemens TIA Portal.

* Writing code from scratch for multiple I/O count projects.

* Front end design work.

* Commissioning on site.
