Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Control Panel Wirer/Builders (Workshop) on 12-month ongoing contracts based in Walsall.
This role falls OUTSIDE IR35
The Panel Wirer/Builders will be wiring National Grid Protection & Control Panels to electrical diagrams/schematics in a manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
• Construction of electrical control panels from presented electrical and mechanical drawings to completion.
• Electrical testing of completed control panels.
• Supervision of junior panel builders and contractors.
• Providing a source of practical design advice and guidance.
About you:
• 5 years' experience desirable, National Grid Panel knowledge is essential
• Knowledgeable in the service of industrial controls.
• Skilled in the construction and testing of special purpose control circuit boards.
• Proficient in the construction of Control Systems.
• Able to electrically test completed control panels.
• We want someone to prove they can add value to a rapidly expanding SME,
• Manufacturing / Industrial experience is important.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others.
• You'll want to make improvements and bring new ideas.
• Strong organisational skills
