Description:
Control & Instrumentation QC Inspector - (Cheshire) – long-term site-based contract
£38 per hour (outside IR35) + average 40-45hr working week + min 12mth contract
Control & Instrumentation QC Inspector responsibilities include:
* Site-based, testing, evaluating, & inspecting of products and instruments.
* Working on live, mega-scale construction site / project.
* Checking designs & test procedures.
* Analysing & interpreting data.
* Writing reports and documentation.
* Collaborating with the team on site & providing technical support.
* Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary.
Control & Instrumentation QC Inspector profile;
* HNC / Degree or similar in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering.
* Minimum 5yrs control and instrumentation Engineering & inspections experience.
* Experience working on large scale construction sites ideally in Oil & Gas, Renewables, Waste to Energy, Nuclear or similar.
* C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certificate and fully conversant with 18th edition IEE Wiring Regulations; BS7671:2018
* Current UK driving license.
* Proven technical knowledge and understanding.
* Excellent customer service manner, with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
* Reside within commutable distance of the Chester area.
