Contract Surveyor
Temporary - Permanent (£60k salary)
West London
Hybrid Working (1 day working from home)
We are recruiting an experienced Contract Surveyor to join a high-profile London-based public sector organisation and support the delivery of repairs, maintenance and planned works across a substantial residential property portfolio.
You will take a client-side approach to managing contractors, monitoring performance and ensuring works are delivered to the required quality, cost and contractual standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing contractor and contract performance

Reviewing valuations, costs and variations
*
Monitoring KPIs and service levels
*
Managing contractual compliance and resolving disputes
*
Overseeing larger and more complex repair works
*
Supporting Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes
*
Managing and monitoring damp, mould and condensation cases
*
Undertaking inspections and ensuring works are completed to the required standard
About you:
You will have experience within housing, property maintenance, surveying or contract management, ideally gained within a local authority, housing association or similar residential environment.
You will bring strong technical, commercial and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge contractors and drive improvements.
Ideal backgrounds include: Contract Surveyor, Building Surveyor, Maintenance Surveyor, Contract Manager or Senior Property Surveyor
