Description:

Pertemps are working with our public sector client to recruit a Contracts Officer on a temporary basis.

???? Location: Edinburgh Central – Hybrid 
???? Hours: 36 hours per week  
???? Pay Rate: £18.34 per hour
???? Duration: Temporary (6 months) 
???? Start Date: July 6th 2026 – December 31st

We're looking for an organised and proactive individual to support procurement compliance, process purchasing requests, and provide guidance on commercial procedures. You'll work across a range of systems, manage enquiries, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What we're looking for:

Strong administrative and IT skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage workloads and work independently
Experience in procurement, finance, purchasing, or commercial operations is desirable
Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, PECOS or similar systems is an advantageFull training will be provided, with the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and supportive team.
