The Company:
Our client is a successful and very well established regional main contractor based just outside Bristol, specialising in a variety projects across property services form maintenance, fire doors, roofing and internal upgrade/refurbishment. Projects are typically across Commercial and public sectors.
Contracts Manager/QS - The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager with additional QS skills (do not have to be a qualified QS but be able to operate without a dedicated QS) to join the team based from the office but roaming across projects (typically 2-5 at any one time) You will be responsible for leading the overall delivery of contracts via site based Site Managers and supported by the commercial and design teams. The role will report to the Director and will have excellent opportunity for growth. It will be a varied role getting involved form Estimating projects through to delivering operationally.
Contracts Manager - The Person
* You will have a solid and steady permanent career experience with main contractors
* Demonstrable experience of delivering maintenance and refurbishment projects
* Able to operate commercially without a dedicated QS
* Proven experience in managing site based teams on multiple simultaneous projects at once
* SMSTS
* Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things
* High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme
* A track record of delivering projects across multi-sectors including
* A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals.
* Commutable within the Bristol region.
