Location: The Cotswolds
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
Join a prestigious building contractor in a critical leadership role that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern construction management. We are seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee renovation projects on Listed and Heritage Buildings in The Cotswolds. This position is primarily office-based with regular site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Contractual management of multiple renovation projects, ensuring all contractual terms are met and projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring comprehensive compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist with project planning, including resource allocation, timeline scheduling, and risk management, to ensure efficient project execution.
Work on contractual claims, manage disputes, and ensure the resolution of conflicts.
Prepare and present detailed reports on the status of contracts, including progress, risks, and potential areas of improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry, with a strong background in listed or heritage building renovations and high-end new developments.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to manage and resolve complex contractual and management issues.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant technology tools.
