Contracts Manager – M&E

High-End Residential Development

Fixed-Term Project (12 Months)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of a prestigious high-end residential development. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional to take ownership of a flagship project, managing works from site mobilisation through to completion.

Working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the exceptionally high standards expected on a luxury residential development.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Managing the project programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.

* Overseeing site management teams and subcontractors.

* Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control.

* Monitoring project budgets, variations and commercial performance.

* Chairing progress meetings and liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.

* Identifying and resolving project risks and delivery challenges.

* Ensuring works are completed in accordance with specification, programme and client expectations.

* Supporting procurement and resource planning activities.

* Managing project reporting and stakeholder communication.

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced Contracts Managers who have a proven background delivering residential construction projects.

You will ideally have:

* Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or Construction Manager.

* Strong experience delivering residential developments.

* Excellent programme management and organisational skills.

* Strong client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.

* Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.

* Good commercial awareness and understanding of project finances.

* SMSTS, CSCS and relevant construction qualifications.

* A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
