Our client is a global Ground Engineering & Geotechnical contractor and a market leader in the UK and due to expansion plans, they require an experienced Ground improvement Contracts manager for their GI Division which delivers Minipiles, Anchors, Permeation Grouting, Rock Grouting, Jet Grouting, Slurry Walls, Compaction Grouting.
Job Description as
* The principal objective of this role is to manage key (more complex and strategically important) Ground Improvement and Ground Engineering projects for our client
* Candidate will have previous experience working for a Geotechnical Contractor (5 years or more).
* Ideally a qualified engineer having achieved or working towards chartership (CEng).
* Experience of some (if not all) of the following products is desirable - Minipiles, Anchors, Permeation Grouting, Rock Grouting, Jet Grouting, Slurry Walls, Compaction Grouting
* Willing and able to travel around the country either visiting projects or some residential stays on more complex projects as acting contracts manager
* Success for thre Ground Improvement contracts manager, will ultimately be measured by the performance of the contracts through:
* Safety record of the contract.
* Bottom line profitability of the contract.
* Customer satisfaction, growth, and retention.
* Employee recruitment, development, retention, and satisfaction.
* Innovation.
Other
* Salary will depend on the individual and experience but in the band of £65 to £85k
* Company car or car allowance will be available – band to be negotiated pending experience.
