Salary up to £55,000 + Car Allowance £6,600 + Pension + 25 Days Holiday

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading electrical contractor based near Eastleigh, Hampshire who is searching for an Electrical Contracts Manager to join the business.

The company has a long tradition of successfully delivering retail, education, industrial and warehouse, hospitality and leisure projects across the UK with project values ranging from £50K to £1M.

The company is entering a sustained busy period and is looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager who is based within a 1 hour commute of Eastleigh.

This role would suit an Electrical Contracts Manager with electrical contracting knowledge and experience who is looking for a long-term career opportunity.

The role of the Electrical Contracts Manager:

As Electrical Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable running of each project, ensuring they are delivered on budget, on programme and to the required standard. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all projects are surveyed, quoted, planned, programmed and labour resourced to meet the client’s requirements.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Contracts Manager:

* Preparation of a programme of contract works.

* Oversight of company contracts to ensure they are quoted correctly and variations captured.

* Liaison with clients, suppliers and subcontractors with respect to the fulfilment of company contracts.

* Attend client scoping meetings and site developer meetings.

* Provision of sales quotes, returns on ITTs and tender documents .

* Attend promotional meetings and events with actual and potential clients.

* To professionally promote the company’s services to existing and prospective clients.

* The provision of project programming works.

* Arrange and attend pre-start subcontract meetings.

* Issuing subcontract orders & instructions.

* Carry out a pre-start site measurement survey where required.

* Produce site meeting minutes.

* Ensure that all on-site labour adheres to all Health & Safety legislation and Company Policy.

* Arrange and attend the project handover to the client where required.

* Ensure that all client initiated snags are rectified to the client’s satisfaction.

* Identify and present all variations.

* Ensure that all contract invoices have been checked and approved.

* Create and send job H&S packs including all relevant RAMS.

* Compile and handover O&M manuals.

* Responsible for processing and verification of test certificates.
