Description:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Workington, Cumbria. They are a leading asbestos removal company providing a full range of licensed and non-licensed asbestos removal services across Cumbria and South West Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
Expand client base and provide quotations for asbestos remediation
Review contract scope, terms, and requirements
Ensure timely and smooth running of contracts, including pre-ordering skips and air testing
Update project plans and schedules
Identify and manage variations to original work-scope
Create electronic job files for each contract, including all relevant documentation from start to completion
Liaise with finance team to ensure correct invoicing for contracts
Carry out workforce appraisals on an annual basis
Prepare risk assessments and method statements for each job, ensuring understanding and adherence
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Asbestos experience preferred (training can be provided)
CSCS Card
Clean driving licence
