Contracts Manager

Carmarthen, South Wales (Office Based)

£60,000 - £65,000 This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking to step into a Contracts Manager position, or an existing Contracts Manager seeking more autonomy within a growing specialist contractor. You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects while working closely with the Directors in a close-knit business where your contribution genuinely matters. Are you a Project Manager looking to take the next step into Contracts Management? Do you enjoy managing projects from start to finish while building strong client relationships? Are you looking for a role where you'll have real ownership rather than being one part of a large corporate structure? Established for over 20 years, this specialist contractor delivers landscaping, land management, excavation and civil engineering projects across commercial, public sector and environmental sectors. With a strong reputation for quality delivery and long-standing client relationships, the business continues to secure repeat work while expanding into new markets. As Contracts Manager, you will oversee projects from contract award through to completion, managing programmes, budgets, health & safety, documentation and client relationships. Working closely with the Directors, you'll coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams while helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. This role would suit an experienced Project Manager ready to progress into Contracts Management, or a Contracts Manager who enjoys working in a smaller business where they can take ownership of projects and become a key member of the team. Experience within construction is essential, with backgrounds in civils, landscaping, groundworks or similar sectors all considered. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, growing company where you'll have genuine autonomy, varied work and the chance to build a long-term career within a business that values its people. The Role:

Managing projects from contract award through to completion
Coordinating clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
Overseeing H&S, contract administration and overall project delivery
Office & site-based role across South Wales
The Person:

Project Manager looking to progress, or existing Contracts Manager
Construction industry experience (civils, landscaping, groundworks or similar)
Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills
