Contracts Manager – Groundworks

We are working on behalf of an established construction company who are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the groundworks and civil engineering package on a major industrial development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage the groundworks package and site teams.

* Oversee earthworks, drainage, utilities, foundations, roads and external works.

* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, labour and plant.

* Monitor programmes, costs, quality and health & safety.

* Liaise with clients, consultants and principal contractors.

* Manage variations, commercial issues and project risks.

About you:

* Proven Contracts Manager experience within groundworks/civil engineering.

* Experience on large-scale industrial, commercial or logistics developments.

* Strong commercial, programme and people-management skills.

* SMSTS/CSCS

* Full UK driving licence
