Salary: Competitive, market-relatedWe are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established roofing contractor based in Rayleigh, Essex. This role involves overseeing a range of residential and commercial projects across London and the South East. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering multiple projects from inception through to completion, with direct reporting to the Directors.

Day-to-day of the role:

Manage and oversee multiple live roofing projects across residential and commercial sectors.
Take full ownership of projects that have already been secured, ensuring successful delivery.
Provide regular updates on programme, cost, and progress directly to the Directors.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
Ensure all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact throughout delivery.
Monitor and manage health & safety compliance across all sites.
Identify and resolve operational and commercial challenges.
Oversee project programming and resource allocation.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within roofing, cladding, or building envelope sectors.
Strong track record of managing multiple concurrent projects.
Experience across residential and commercial builds.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to liaise effectively with clients, directors, and site teams.
Strong understanding of project delivery, cost control, and programme management.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations within construction.Benefits:
