The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Contracts Manager? Our client is seeking a dedicated Contracts Manager to oversee and run a number of large Arboriculture contracts. As a Contracts Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring that Arboriculture projects are run to the highest of standards.
As a Contracts Manager your responsibilities will include the following:
• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of arboricultural contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their expectations are met.
• Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and support a team of arborists and ground staff, ensuring they are motivated and performing effectively.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
• Quality Control: Monitor and ensure the quality of work performed, conducting site inspections and audits as necessary.
• Business Development: Identify opportunities for new contracts and services and assist in preparing proposals and bids.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on project progress, financial status, and team performance.
We are looking for a Contracts Manager who has the following skills and qualifications:
• Full UK Driver’s License is essential
• Experience: Significant experience in arboriculture, with a track record of managing contracts and leading teams.
• Certification: Relevant qualifications (e.g., ISA Certified Arborist, NPTC/LANTRA) a NVQ in Arboriculture would be a bonus as well.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Client Focus: Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Financial Acumen: Experience in budget management and financial planning.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant IT tools.
