A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Contracts/Site Manager to join an established and progressive organisation based in the East Yorkshire area. Reporting in to the Managing Director and working as part of the management team, this is a permanent position offering competitive salary and with an organisation which continues to go from strength to strength.
As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:
Daily management of both staff in the factory and on site
Ensuring all H&S procedures are undertaken in both the factory and on site
Dealing with calls from clients to address any issues
Allocating staff to solve any problems on site
Assisting the office team with project planning & updating of progress
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and come from an agricultural, construction or manufacturing background. Strong man-management and leadership skills are essential for this role as you must be able to drive individuals in order to achieve targets. Knowledge of the pig industry would be beneficial but is not essential. The role would suit a motivated individual who is looking to make an impact and be part of a supportive and forward-thinking management team. An element of travel will also be part of the role , therefore you should be flexible on hours
This role offers a competitive salad £45,000 - £50,000 with working hours from 6am Monday -Friday and the business is commutable from Driffield, Hull, Bridlington, Beverley and surrounding areas
