About Us

We are a well-established South Yorkshire-based contractor specialising in drylining, fire protection, and passive fire solutions. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple drylining and fire protection contracts from pre-start through to final account. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with clients, site managers, supervisors, commercial teams, and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of each project.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple drylining and passive fire protection contracts simultaneously.
Plan, programme, and coordinate projects from commencement to completion.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and programme performance.
Ensure all works comply with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Attend site meetings and carry out regular site inspections.
Manage labour resources and subcontractor performance.
Identify and resolve project risks and technical issues.
Work closely with the commercial team on valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Ensure quality standards are achieved and client expectations are exceeded.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the drylining, partitioning, ceilings, or passive fire protection industry.
Strong knowledge of drylining systems and fire protection installations.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and project teams.
Full UK Driving Licence.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
