Contracts Manager - Social Housing Maintenance
Planned and Reactive Maintenance
North Devon
PERMANENT
Resourcing Group is working with a local Maintenance Contractor who is responsible for managing a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance contracts, working across North Devon.
Their end clients are predominantly public sector landlords including HAs and LAs, but not exclusively as they also work for education providers and with in the MOD too.
Their planned maintenance team manage and over see FRA works, Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishments, disabled adaptations, EWI works, roofing repairs, painting contracts, window and door replacements, to name the main specialisms. They also have an R&M team and department that manage all of the day to day responsive repairs.
This role will suit someone with experience working with in the social housing maintenance sector. If you do not have social housing maintenance, please do still consider applying. The most important aspects of this role, are understanding maintenance in it's entirety, understanding public sector schedule of rates, managing a direct work force and working closely to maintain end client relationships.
Duties include:
Overseeing multiple projects running simultaneously in different locations
Client management and liaison
Point of escalation for internal and external queries for both directly employed team members, as well as sub contractors and the tenants/clients alike.
Personnel management
Time sheet management
Budget control, working alongside the QS and commercial team
Managing KPIs and SLAs
Regular toolbox talks, technical support and day to day support for your team
