Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Ipswich
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established regional main contractor based in Ipswich, delivering projects across education, healthcare, commercial, residential, and framework schemes.
This is a key role overseeing multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safe, high-quality, and commercially successful delivery across the region.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
* Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners
* Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to specification
* Monitor programme, cost control, and progress
* Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager with a main contractor
* Strong experience managing multiple live projects
* Excellent leadership and organisational skills
* Strong commercial awareness
* JCT/NEC knowledge preferred
* Strong client relationship skills
