Are you an ambitious Site Manager or Project Manager ready to take the next step in your construction career?
We are working on behalf of a well-established construction business to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their team, based out of their Brierley Hill office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional looking to progress into a Contracts Manager position, taking responsibility for multiple projects and playing a key role in their successful delivery.
Overseeing a portfolio of 2–3 projects at any one time, you will work across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, healthcare, housing, refurbishment and education. You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience, develop your commercial and operational skills, and take greater ownership of project performance.

The Role
As Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the successful delivery of 2–3 construction projects simultaneously.
*
Managing projects across commercial, healthcare, housing, refurbishment and education sectors.
*
Supporting and leading site-based teams, including Site Managers and Project Managers.
*
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
*
Monitoring programme performance, costs, resources and overall project profitability.
*
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams.
*
Ensuring health and safety, quality assurance and company procedures are consistently maintained.
*
Identifying and managing project risks, resolving operational challenges and driving continuous improvement.
*
Providing regular updates on project progress, commercial performance and key milestones.
About You
This opportunity would suit an ambitious construction professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You may currently be working as a Senior Site Manager, Site Manager or Project Manager and feel ready to move into a role with greater responsibility, autonomy and influence across multiple projects.
Ideally, you will have:

A strong background in construction, ideally within a main contracting environment.
*
Experience delivering projects within one or more of the commercial, healthcare, housing, refurbishment or education sectors.
*
The ability to manage programmes, coordinate site teams and maintain high standards of delivery.
*
A good understanding of construction contracts, commercial performance, health and safety, and quality control.
*
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
*
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ambition to progress into a senior operational role.
Previous experience as a Contracts Manager would be beneficial, but the business is also keen to speak with strong Site Managers and Project Managers who can demonstrate the potential to make the step up.
