Are you on the lookout for an engaging role as a Contracts Coordinator? Belcan Workforce Solutions presents a stimulating 12 month+ contract opportunity with a multinational oil and gas corporation near Southampton, Hampshire. This is a full-time position and fully based on site, operating under Inside of IR35 regulations, offers an immersive on-site experience to demonstrate your proficiency in contract management and administration.

Main Functions

The Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for stewarding and administering vendor contracts and/or orders to ensure uninterrupted goods/service delivery to buyers and compliance with controls.
Responsible for researching and analysing existing contracts and making recommendations on various issues.
Monitors and manages contract expiration dates. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with Contractor Representatives on a daily basis to address issues that may arise from the placement and amendment of purchase orders and the payment of invoices for work executed against those purchase orders. Provide contract status reports to management for review.
Ensure effective contract administration through records management, advice and compliance with procurement, controls, OIMS and business requirements.
Provide support to Accounts Payable as required.
Coordinate with field personnel and confirm that Contractor performance evaluations (ongoing or end-of-service) results are captured for future contract consideration.
Work with Contract Advisor and Representatives to identify performance and efficiency improvement opportunities in contracts.
Work closely with Procurement on contract renewal, contract award, contract resolutions and contract follow-up action items.

Skills & Qualifications

Microsoft Excel and other analysis tools
Experience of using SAP (or other) computerised maintenance management tools.
Understanding of company expectations relating to controls, reporting and compliance
Ability to integrate security and community objectives into plans for Service & Material Contracting.
Budgetary reporting and analysis skills
Solid written communication and reporting skills
Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) processes Understanding of Procurement roles, responsibilities and business processes as they relate to contracts Knowledgeable of contracts terms and conditions Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others
Carry out regular reviews of contract service requirements with the T/A Preparation Team.
Where necessary, assist the preparation team with development of purchase/ technical specifications for Service Contracts.
Obtain budget quote estimates / forecasts / critical capacity bookings for contract services as requested by T&M Block Leaders.
Prompt and facilitate OIMS approval if required.
Development of contracting strategies that deliver commercial advantage.
Complete Tender and Implementation in line with defined timeline / PIP.
Customer satisfaction results regarding contract structure (fit for purpose).
Cost savings/value adds initiatives.
