The Work Shop are delighted to be recruiting for an Contracts Administrator/ Account Manager a year for a growing organisation based in Southampton

As the successful – Contracts Administrator Southampton you will receive.

• Salary up to £35,000
• Southampton office
• Office based - 5 days per week. 8:30am – 5pm
• 23 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays) rising to 28 with service
• Pension – 5% employee contribution, 3% employer (rises with service – max 8%)
• Flexi time – system allows you to accumulate hours to be taken in that month or following month(subject to approval) ( 8 hours Max in any month)

To manage the day to day running of Aerospace Contracts with their quality requirements, spec reviews and customer forecasts
The contracts Manager provides solutions to internal and external challenges received by the Contracts team on a daily basis ensuring a smooth process and ultimately a good service and performance to customers.

Key Responsibilities of The Contracts Administrator

To lead, manage and maintain all long-term contracts, working directly with the sales department and other stake holders involved in the appointed contracts. Ensure a high level of performance is achieved and all KPIs are met.

To be aware of the sales budget and communicate with the Branch Manager / Director of Aerospace - Europe any changes as appropriate.

To manage contract and key accounts in the following activities

Quoting

Booking orders / work orders / directs / buy outs

Expediting material through the supply chain

Uploading forecasts and managing line of balance

To work with general sales team keeping them informed and passing over ad-hoc day-to-day enquiries including:
General enquiries
Souring information
Market help and feedback

Participate in weekly meetings with Branch Manager/ Director of Aerospace - Europe to assess the numbers and provide feedback in the running of accounts.

Generate weekly report to Branch Manager/ Director of Aerospace - Europe that highlights activities and status on all Contracts

Generate monthly report to Branch Manager/ Director of Aerospace - Europe that consolidates and summaries the weekly reports but also provides recommendations for improvements

Ensure that regular dialogue occurs with Contract Inventory Management with a view to reaching the objective of reducing the obsolete and slow-moving inventory

Skills of the Contracts Administrator

• Good knowledge of Excel
• Strong organisation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service and planning skills
• 5 years’ experience as sales/accounts manager
